This year Hasbro released 2 new decos of the skystriker. In the video below I look at both the regular retail release that came in the Silent Strike pack and the SDCC exclusive Crimson Scythe. You can also check out a gallery of Images HERE
If you enjoy the video be sure to jump over to Youtube, give it a thumbs up and subscribe.
This is a review I did some time ago, in my old “light box” (a shelf) but i saved for my busy time to drop in as I could. Testing a new intro (this isn’t the final version) let me know what you think! You can see the video embedded below and you can head over to our facebook HERE for an album with more images of Hit n Run and depending on when you are reading, this potentially more of the FSS 3.
I would score this guy an 7 out of 10. After fixing his facepaint myself he would bump to a 9.
If you were at the wonderful Coil Con 6 and stopped by the Joe Declassified booth you already saw this small little piece. I picked it off a freebie pile at the unofficial custom class for Joe Con 2013 in Indy. Erik Arana and Andrew Franks, now of Boss Fight, where there and only recently out of Hasbro. They threw out a pile of parts and I grabbed this guy.
I knew right away that I hadn’t seen that torso in that color, and I could place the legs as an ROC SE that came with a rerelease of the Arashakage battle playset and a single resolute trooper arm.
Eventually after neither Pat (not picard) or James Kavanaugh Jr. could ID it I contacted Erik in hopes of finding out it was a planned repaint or something, but was still thrilled to discover he had just been customizing on it. Hard for some of us to believe, the way prototypes, test shots, etc. are sought after by collectors.
You can see a few more images below or you can go to our facebook album HERE to see them together and while you are there give them some likes!
Latest review is up! Check it out below and be sure to head over to youtube and like and subscribe if you enjoyed it. This time we take a peek at Glow in the Dark Snake-Eyes and v2 Stormshadow by The Loyal Subjects. I should note this is their old body style and does not reflect how the new figures will be coming in November (14 points of articulation!)
In the latest episode of the Nerdrahtio podcast we discuss Joe’s past work with Sideshow (including an unreleased pimp daddy Destro) Mondo (, the1/6 scale turtles) and his ongoing work on The Loyal Subjects action vinyl lines.
You can listen via the embedded player below or find us on Stitcher and Itunes using the drop down menu above. Be sure to keep scrolling down to find links to our image galleries as well as some text notes from the interview.
Clutch was revealed via Nerdrahtio on time while I was behind on editing, this podcast should have come along with it. Expected to be open window boxed or classic closed box , but obviously won’t be a blind box.
Want to get a non chase Baroness? Will red or blue do ?
No official announcements, but keep an ear out for Thundercats as it is a very strong possibility. (Update, thundercats ARE happening!)
Due to licensing TLS does not have the rights to do vehicles for TMNT and it’s not likely they can do playsets either. Tell playmates you want them to be allowed to!
Upcoming figs are designed to be workable with their vehicles and animals, and while it may not be true for the turtles you should be able to get a Joe on battlecat or he-man in your vamp.
Power Ranger wave 2 will still be MMPR, still working on how to get the individual zords to combine!
BONUS UPDATE: Jonathan Cathey has confirmed Street Fighter will have knee articulation and “be like Joe”
First 12″ Joe I have ever owned! The Boss Fight head for Mindbender looked great, but I already had a Mindbender, and he didn’t glow in the dark! So I tried something new. See what I think in the video below!
